2000: Named third team Louisville Slugger All-America by Collegiate Baseball — CSU’s first-ever baseball all-american...ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region first team...MCC Player of the Year...produced .458 batting average, 99 hits, 17 doubles, 19 home runs, 73 RBI and .819 slugging pct....struck out just 15 times in 216 at-bats...finished second in the nation in batting average, fifth in slugging pct., 17th in RBI (1.33 per game) and 18th in home runs (0.35 per game)...ended the season with career-best 22-game hitting streak and also had an 18-game run earlier in the year...during the course of the season, he picked up at least one hit in 50 of 55 games, reaching base in 52 contests...named MCC Player of the Week three times...set CSU season records for RBI and hits and had second-highest batting average in school history...had 32 multi-hit and 20 multi-RBI games...recorded 12 consecutive multi-hit games from Apr. 29-May 12...homered in 7-of-8 contests from May 6-13...2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored versus UW-Milwaukee (5/14)...4-for-5 against Toledo (5/9) with four runs scored...10-for-15 with four dingers, 12 RBI and seven runs in four-game set with Wright State (5/5-7)...4-for-4 at Pittsburgh (4/18)...6-for-9 with two homers, seven RBI and four runs in two games at Maryland (3/7 & 3/9).

1999: Made 196 trips to the plate, producing 38 runs in 64 hits…led the team in doubles (17) and triples (2)…also smacked five home runs…name to the All-Tournament Team at the Akron Invitational after going 4-for-5 against the Zips…had the game-winning RBI in a 5-4 win over Duquesne on March 27… went 4-for-4 against Wright State on April 10, also knocking in 5 RBI…his 35 RBI was the third-highest on the squad…ranked second in assists with 142.

1998: Named honorable mention Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball…second team All-MCC…also named to MCC all-newcomer team…led team in hitting (.348), runs scored (45), hits (65) and second in RBI (39), home runs (9) and on-base percentage (.440)…finished among MCC leaders in hits (3rd), average (6th), runs (6th), home runs (7th) and RBI (9th).

High School: Three-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball… was team captain, all-league, all-city and team MVP his senior year at Lake Catholic…was honorable mention All-Ohio basketball and All-District…played summer baseball with Lyndhurst Mid-Air in Northeast Connie Mack league.
