CSU Wins 4-0 Over Green Bay

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Cleveland State women's tennis team (18-7) defeated Green Bay, 4-0, to remain in the Championship Bracket at the Horizon League Championship on Saturday morning.

CSU claimed the doubles point after winning at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. Senior Morgan Ungerott and sophomore Charlotte Gibbons defeated Kelly Stadum and Laura Bartingale at No. 2 doubles, winning 6-2, 4-2. Freshman Sanda Bjelan and sophomore Denisa Muntean won 6-4, 3-3 over Callee Conda and Kari Petrashek at No. 3 doubles.

The bottom of the lineup was solid for the Vikings once again. Bjelan won 6-1, 6-2 over Conda at No. 4 singles, while Gibbons defeated Bartingale 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Muntean won 6-1, 6-0 over Petrashek at No. 6 singles to finish the Viking victory.

The Vikings face No. 1 UIC on Saturday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m.
